Raspberry Cream Soda made with Sprite, Torani syrup and whipped cream. It is an easy and tasty raspberry drink.
During the 1920’s Prohibition with the closing of bars, there was a gap left for people who wished to go and socialize. Along came Soda Fountains and Shops serving concoctions mixing homemade syrups and soda water. The buildings with their retro neon window signs and checker floors with marble counters and gleaming soda fountains were a place together and socialize. The innovation of the 1920s and my love of anything raspberry inspired me to mix up this Raspberry Cream Soda. The best part is it only takes a few minutes and you have a tasty sweet treat. I am so in love with this drink I want to attempt next time to use seltzer and make syrups from fresh fruit and cane sugar.
- 1 tablespoon raspberry flavor syrup
- 12 oz Sprite
- ½ cup cup whipped cream
- Mix the Raspberry Cream Soda: Fill a glass with ice. Pour the syrup and Sprite into a glass and mix with a straw. Add the whipped cream to the top and mix into the drink. Enjoy your tasty treat.
